Cervelo S5, the queen of aerodynamics. The new model has been perfected and developed with the input of professionals.
Wout Van Aert, Cristophe LaPorte, Olav Kooij, Marianne Vos and the entire Jumbo Visma team have demonstrated that the Cervelo S5 is without doubt one of the fastest bikes on the planet.
Compared to the previous model, the improvements made are different, such as, for example, the fork has been completely redesigned to simplify the front end and the iconic V-handlebar has been further profiled. The frame surface has been increased thus maximizing the UCI regulations.
The end result is that we have managed to reduce the overall weight and reduce aerodynamic resistance by a good 65 grams.
SPEED'
The V-shaped stem, in addition to having very low impact with the air, gives the rider excellent stability, especially at high speeds.
With the new handlebar system it is very simple to find the ideal setup. All the spacers are supplied with the bike and only one length for the fixing screws, thus reducing both the assembly operations and the weight by a good 53 grams.
