Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8, the eighth generation is finally here. The best frame on the market in terms of aerodynamics, lightness, stiffness and ride quality.

The Ride Science Team was able to simulate that the Tarmac SL8 is faster on any course, at the same wattage and rider weight:

• – 16.6 seconds on 40 km flat
• – 128 seconds Milan – Sanremo
• – 20 seconds on the Tourmalet

Here are the key points of the new Tarmac Sworks SL8:

• AERODYNAMICS: the front end, fork and steering, have been studied in minute detail to ensure much lower aerodynamic resistance. The section of the seat post has also been significantly reduced so that the air generated by pedaling can flow out more easily.
• RIDE QUALITY: The stiffness-to-weight ratio has been improved by the 33% compared to the SL7. The development team has managed to make it even more stable and efficient on twisty descents at high speed or when the rider puts maximum power into the pedals.
• LIGHTWEIGHT: The frame weighs just 685 grams. The 15% is lighter than the Tarmac SL7.
