New V4Rs, built with one goal: to win.
The elements on which the Colnago development focused are: Aerodynamics, Weight, Dynamic Stiffness, Geometry and Sizing.
AERODYNAMICS: Every single portion of the frame and handlebars has been subjected to a prototyping phase in the wind tunnel, followed by specific road tests. The component that has further contributed to improving the impact with the air is the CC01 handlebar, which has contributed the aerodynamic coefficient of the 16%.
WEIGHT: It was difficult to lighten the V3Rs frame kit while prioritizing stiffness and aerodynamics. In addition to having significantly improved the fork under these two elements, it has been lightened compared to the previous one. The new V4Rs frame kit is 50 grams lighter.
DYNAMIC STIFFNESS: Most frames are developed with the conventional riding position of the athlete in mind, i.e. sitting on the saddle and pedaling at a constant cadence.
